The 1995-W Proof American Silver Eagle Coin in this set was the first one ever struck by the West Point Mint featuring a W mint mark on the reverse of the coin. With the overall release limited to 30,125 sets, the Proof Silver Eagle in this set is the lowest-minted coin in the history of the Proof American Silver Eagle.

On the obverse of 1995-W Proof American Eagles in this five-coin set, you will find Walking Liberty from Adolph A. Weinman on the silver coin and Lady Liberty from Augustus Saint-Gaudens on the gold coins. Walking Liberty is featured in left-profile relief walking toward the sun, while Lady Liberty is in front-facing relief walking toward the viewer with a torch and olive branch.

The reverse field of the 1995 Proof American Eagles comes with two depictions of the American bald eagle. The silver coin has the heraldic eagle design from John Mercanti, with the eagle supporting the US national shield while clutching the olive branch of peace and the arrows of war. The gold coins have the design of a family of American bald eagles as created by Miley Busiek.
